Jr. High Head Coach, Philip Woods
Graduated in 2000 from Edmond North High School where he won a state title at 215 pounds. He then attended Northeastern State University where he played football for four years earning 2nd team ALL Lone Star Conference honors in 2002 and 1st team in 2003 and was a part of the 2000 Lone Star Conference championship team. Woods was a graduate assistant wrestling and football coach for one year (2004-05)
at Norman North. In 2005-06 Woods returned to Edmond North as the assistant Jr.
High coach and a varsity football coach. In 2007-08 Woods became the head Jr. high
wrestling coach and head 7th grade football coach. He teaches Spanish at Sequoyah Middle School. Philip has been married to his wife Julie for three years.
